Free Membership
Membership to GoldenStateTrout.com, and its Forums, is free.  The only requirement being to Register with a valid email address and adhere to the GoldenStateTrout.com 'Terms of Use'.

Privacy
We all know how important matters of Privacy are on the internet and online communities.  The only personal information GoldenStateTrout.com Registration requires is the Members' email address.  GoldenStateTrout.com does not disclose member email addresses to anyone for any purpose., with the exception of Law Enforcement with court ordered Warrant. In addition, GoldenStateTrout.com may furnish Law Enforcement with an abusive members' email address. if matters require such.

Regional Content
Organized by popular Regions, visitors are able to quickly review content for their desired regions.  Region content includes 'First Hand' Reports and Trip Journals, area information and maps.

Regional Forums
The GoldenStateTrout.com Forums are also categorized in similar regions.  For each of the Regions, the visitor is presented a level of Forums (General, Fishing, Lodging, Camping...).  Within each Forum the visitor is provided with Member supplied Topics for that Region and Forum.

Member Interaction
The Key to the success and meaningfulness of GoldenStateTrout.com relies heavily upon its ability to provide its members with the tools to Interact.  With this in mind,  GoldenStateTrout.com selected and adapted a suitable core Forum to achieve it.  The GoldenStateTrout.com Forums allow its members to interact through Region/Forum/Topic discussions, Private Messaging and Email without revealing the email addresses of its members.  Members are also given the option disclose their ICQ, AIM, MSN and/or Yahoo messenger addresses to GoldenStateTrout.com Members.
